New Orleans based writer of essays, poetry, short stories, and more. An experienced teacher, media professional, and organizer, katie is open to writing opportunities and learning experience design collaborations. Her work has made her a finalist for the 25th annual Writer's Digest Short Short Stories Award and the 2024 Connecticut Poetry Society Experimental Poetry Award. Currently, kwe is teaching and earning her MFA at the University of New Orleans and working on a speculative fiction novel.
